Defense Matters - $8,500,000

On November 13, 2007, President Bush signed the FY 2008 Defense Appropriations Act (HR3222/Public Law 110-116), which included a $2,000,000 increase for Source Sentinel's “Detection of Biologics in Water for National Defense“ authored and advanced by Congressman James T. Walsh (NY-25).

Mosaic Federal Affairs LLC played a key role with Senator Clinton's office to enact a FY 2007 Senate Armed Services Committee Authorization for Appropriation and placement of significant resources to enable full-scale development and deployment.
 
In March 2007, Source Sentinel's Defense Threat Reduction Agency test and evaluation funding was increased by $1,427,000 from a FY-2007 House Appropriations-Defense appropriation achieved by the Office of Congressman Walsh and a FY 2007 Senate Appropriations-Defense bill appropriation through the joint efforts of  the Offices of Senators Schumer and Clinton.
